A Perfect First Bite: Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini with Peach & Honey

There’s something magical about the very first bite of a gathering — the moment when conversation is just beginning and a beautifully crafted appetizer sets the tone for what’s to come.

At Peach X Pearl, we believe in easy elegance, and this Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini with Peach & Honey is exactly that. With creamy whipped goat cheese, sun-kissed peach slices, and a delicate drizzle of honey, this recipe is bright, balanced, and ready in minutes.

Whether you’re hosting a summer soirée or styling a wine-and-cheese board for two, these crostini bring charm and flavor with zero stress.

Ingredients:

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened

  • 2 oz cream cheese

  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Toast the Bread:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush with olive oil. Toast for 8–10 minutes, until golden.

  2. Whip the Cheese:
In a mixing bowl, blend goat cheese and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy (use a hand mixer for best results).

  3. Assemble the Crostini:
Spread a generous layer of whipped cheese on each toast. Top with 2–3 peach slices.

  4. Garnish & Drizzle:
Drizzle lightly with honey and top with fresh thyme leaves.

  5. Serve:
Arrange on a ceramic platter or rustic wooden board. Serve immediately, or prepare up to 1 hour ahead and refrigerate.

Hosting Tip:
For a more floral twist, infuse your honey with dried lavender a day ahead, or pair with a sparkling white wine for a simple but thoughtful pairing.
